Quite Quarrelsome || Sins of the World #7

Unholy Laying of Hands Welcome back to “Sins of the World.” I’m taking a deeper dive in the words of Galatians 5:19-21 to talk about what we need to avoid and how they can lead us to the Fruits of the Spirit. The Anger Avenue || Where the Hurt Lives #3

Anger is a valid emotion during the grief process. Acknowledging a hurt that came too soon and the fact that separation came from an event that was not expected. We landed in Peter’s denial in Mark 14:66-72 to learn about the processing of Peter realizing Jesus’ prophecy.

Making the World Less Hostile || Sins of the World #6

The psalmist’s lamentation reflects feelings of abandonment yet emphasizes regaining hope through faith and connection. Ultimately, vulnerability and trust in God can guide us toward healing.

Grounding Today’s Idols in God || Sins of the World #4

Idolatry is not an old-Bible term that doesn’t exist anymore. Colossians 3:5 shows us what idols can look like, and how we see idols in our world today. Consumerism, digital media, and nationalism has all in bondage. It’s time to break this.
