Teaching the Next Generation || Deuteronomy 6:7 || Mid-Week Midrash #14

Deuteronomy 6:7 – Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and walk along the road. Talk about them when you lie down and when you get up.

This is a reminder to remember this command: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength.” This is so important to teach the future generations that we need to tell them when they are at home, during their travels, before bed, and at breakfast. We must remember to love God with everything we are each day of our lives. We can continue to build our relationship with God when we include the emotional part of our lives in the heart. We can continue to build our relationship with God when we include him in our soul, the essence of who we are. We can continue to build our relationship with God when we include him in our strength, the physical part of our lives. May you include God in all areas of your life. Amen.
