-2 Timothy 3:16
There is lots of stuff to cover that may take two weeks. What does it mean for something to be God-breathed? Simply put, it means influenced. The authors of the Bible had a divine influence from God to write what they needed to write. God did not do the writing. God did not tells the authors what to write. The authors wrote their books themselves, just with that helpful nudge from God to tell the story that needed to be told. This scripture is fairly common to anyone who’s unfamiliar with the Bible as an answer to how these writings come to be. Let’s take next week to cover the second half of this verse.
