Why Teach the Bible || 2 Timothy 3:16 (Part 2) || Mid-Week Midrash #30

MWM 30

“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” – 2 Timothy 3:16

Last week, we talked about what it means for scripture to be “God-breathed.” This week, let’s look at the four ways we can use this scripture here and how it applies to our lives. Teaching scripture is suitable for everyone. It helps understand the context of the biblical narrative. It shares with us what it means to be a follower. It shares with us why Jesus did what he did. That’s just scratching the surface. As a Bible teacher for the last nine years, sharing with them the stories of Jesus and who He is just plants that mustard seed for everyone to develop a relationship with him. These are some of the reasons why scripture is helpful for teaching. Look’s like we’re taking three additional weeks to discuss this verse.
