How many of you have wondered what goes on inside the mind of Youth Director? Me either…but here it is.
So why is the blog in existence?
So, about me? I’m going to keep this short. I’m working as a Youth Director in a United Methodist Church in Michigan. I’ve been serving at my current church for about 4 years now, and been working with Youth Ministries for about 6 years in total. In addition to Youth Ministry, I also volunteer as the manager of our Sound/Video Booth, and was our former Newsletter Editor. I consider myself, and I’m sure my parishioners would agree, our Tech Guru as well. Meaning that if anything technical goes wrong, I’m the one they come and see.
So what’s going to be seen on this blog?
Another big question I know you’re probably asking is, “When are you going to upload these wonderful and informative blogs?” Good question…and brownie points to you for the compliment.
To start: I’m planning on posting every Friday, but there may be lapses in-between weeks of posting. This means you’re just going to have to stay tuned to the blog to see when one of my glorious posts comes to your screen.
Overall, I just want to share with this wonderful world all the blessing God has given to me in my 6 years of working in Youth Ministry. Doing this will also be therapeutic to clear my head of things I’m currently working on and dealing with. I hope to have your support and blessings as we start this journey together.
See you soon. The first post won’t be on the site until August 2nd (one week from today) so that I can get this site exactly how I want it.
