Patience and Encouragement || Romans 15:5-6 || Mid-Week Midrash #37

5Patience and encouragement come from God. And I pray that God will help you all agree with each other the way Christ Jesus wants.

Then you will all be joined together, and you will give glory to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Patience and encouragement. We need these things for ourselves and things that we need to share. Paul says this to encourage us to live as Jesus wants us to. We need to be patient with each other. We don’t know what’s going on in each other’s lives, and if we do, we might not know the whole story. The patience that comes from God is the patience we need for each other. God puts up with all the dumb stuff we do and our lives, and, with some practice and patience, we can do that for each other. As we learn patience with each other, we can also encourage. Encourage someone to be patient. Be thankful for those that are patient. Learn as much as you can and share that wisdom with others.
