Work Within God’s Means || Acts 20:24 || Mid-Week Midrash #45

24 I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I complete my mission. I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.

I want to point out some crucial things about this verse. First, this is probably from Paul. Paul believed that Jesus was returning immediately. Therefore, Paul was going nuts regarding gathering new believers in Christ. So, keep all that in mind when reading and hearing this verse. Please, care about your own life. It’s all good to share the Gospel with others and plant the seed for people to develop a relationship with Christ but do it healthily. Jesus went away from people multiple times to seek solitude and recharge from being with people
